Simmons leads all aspects of the WNBA team's business operations, including ticket and sponsorship sales, marketing, game operations, communications, community relations and finance. Under her leadership, the Sparks have seen a 68 percent increase in ticket sales, increased viewership on Spectrum SportsNet, and in the 2018 season, the team has impacted nearly 100,000 lives through community programs. She signed on with the Sparks after serving as an executive vice president at Magic Johnson Enterprises, where she was responsible for business development; she's heading into her sixth season with the team. Simmons has a talent for strategic alliances, having worked on the business side of entertainment in organizations such as Disney and NBCUniversal. Simmons' community involvement is strong. She serves on the boards of organizations including the L.A. Sports Council and the Positive Coaching Alliance. She's a proud graduate of UCLA is on its alumni board.
