2 Chainz, YG & Offset’s Moms Steal the Show in ‘Proud’ Music Video

There’s nothing more significant than a mom’s love. 2 Chainz, YG and Migos’ Offset recruited their mothers to drip parental swag all over their Proud visual. The track is an ode to the moms who helped groom the rappers for their success.

Each mom took on the persona of her son. The women are seen rapping, counting stacks dressed as their rap superstar sons and hanging out in various ‘hoods in the 2 Chainz-directed music video. Throughout the video, locals hold up signs, such as  “I’m Just Tryna Make My Momma Proud” that correlate to the song lyrics.

“Proud” is featured on 2 Chainz’s latest EP, The Play Don’t Care Who Makes It. Watch the rap moms show their sons where they inherited their swag from in the video above.
