Beyoncé Honors Toni Braxton With 2018 Halloween Costume

Beyoncé and the Carter clan shut down Instagram every year with their spot-on Halloween costumes honoring great artists. While the family has yet to release this year’s group shots, Queen Bey has already taken to social media to pay tribute to R&B diva Toni Braxton.

Not only did Mrs. Carter kill her look from Braxton’s self-titled debut album cover, but she wrote a heartwarming note dedicated to the songstress who clearly influenced the Everything is Love artist.

“Sending love and adoration to one of our talented legends,” the pop superstar wrote. “Thank you for the countless bops. Your tone, your beauty, your range, and your God-given talent is treasured. Loving you always. Have a Happy Halloween my Kings and Queens.”

Take a look at more shots from Bey’s Braxton tribute below.

Beyoncé has previously dressed up as Janet Jackson, Salt of Salt-N-Pepa and Lil Kim, whom she honored last year beside her hubby, JAY-Z, who dressed as Kim’s mentor & lover, The Notorious B.I.G.

Born and raised in Compton, California, Jessica Bennett began her career as an intern at The Oakland Post, and later, The Source Magazine. She went on to write for respected hip hop publications such as DJ Booth and Hip Hop DX before becoming the Urban Editor of pop culture website, Wetpaint.com. She joined Ebony as the Entertainment Editor August 2017. Bennett has interviewed such names as Vanessa Williams, Spike Lee, Tyra Banks, Forest Whitaker, Magic & Cookie Johnson and several others.
