Floyd Mayweather Never Graduated, Proud His Son Finished High School

Floyd Mayweather Jr. praised his son Koraun, 18, for recently graduating from high school, a feat the boxing champion never accomplished.

Yesterday (May 31), the often outspoken flashy Mayweather congratulated his son for the achievement after he graduated from West Ranch High School in California. “I’m so proud of my son @kingkoraun for doing something that I didn’t do, and that’s graduate high school,” the boxer wrote under a series of photos of the two of them.

He continued: “When I was his age I dropped out of school and followed my dream of boxing to take my family out of poverty!”

Through his decision, Mayweather has become a boxing legend with a 50-0 record, the second highest winning streak in the modern sport. He is also one of the wealthiest athletes in the world after such a successful career.  He retired in 2015 and made a one-fight return in 2017 to battle it out with MMA fighter Conor McGregor.
