“Fresh Prince” Carlton Stages Flash Mob

Alfonso Ribeiro, the actor known best for his role as Carlton Banks on "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air," staged what he called "the world's largest simultaneous flash-mob" in Los Angeles. The 40 year-old actor teamed up with fitness company ViSalus' Body by Vi for a promotional performance that had everyone bust out in the "Carlton" dance as Tom Jones' "It's Not Unusual" played in the background. As seen in the video, the dance routine featured the goofy, arm-swinging choreography first introduced to television viewers in 1992.

Of course, no "Fresh Prince" dance session would be complete without the infamous Will and Carlton duet set to Sugar Hill Gang's hit song "Apache (Jump On It)." According to Ribeiro, the flash mob not only took place in Los Angeles, but in over 300 cities as well. Despite the show ending sixteen-years ago, there's no doubt that "Fresh Prince" made an impact on viewers around the world who immediately became part of the Banks Beverly Hills family.
