Jill Scott Uses Microphone to Showcase Bedroom Skills

True fans of Jill Scott know that much of her music is tinged in sensuality. From “Epiphany” to “Crown Royal,” the Philadelphia songstress has never shied away from her expressing sexuality through song. Last night, however, fans got quite the visual to go along with her sultry wordplay: The singer simulated oral sex on her microphone onstage.

In video recorded by concertgoers, the “Golden” songwriter is seen “rocking the mic,” to the excitement of the audience who screamed throughout her performance. Check out the Twitter trending topic to see the racy video.

The moment shocked several of her followers, leading Scott to explain the move via Twitter.

“Hi. I sing/act out all kinds of stories. You should c*m to my shows,” Scott wrote. “After a Jill Scott show, most people get splendidly laid by whoever they came with😁👍🏽🎶🤪🎉 #iftheydontFitup  #stopfrontinusuckd*cktoo They also usually go on 2happier, more productive, focused, wealthy lives.”

Some fans continued to share their disbelief while others, including fellow Philadelphian Questlove of The Roots, let the newbies know that Scott has always been a bit edgy. Check out reactions to the moment below.
