Simone Biles Makes History, Wins Fourth All-Around World Title

Simone Biles made history Thursday by becoming the first woman to win four all-around titles at the world championships in Doha, Qatar, CNN reports.

Biles’ victory comes a few days after she revealed that she is not having a kidney stone removed until after the competition.

The world champion won by 1.693 points, her “largest margin of victory of her four titles,” despite her stepping out of bounds on the floor exercise, and falling on the vault and balance beam, according to CNN.

American gymnast Morgan Hurd took Bronze at the competition.
