Report: Boy, 13, Abducted and Assaulted by Group of White Teens, Escapes Safely

Zavion Parker, Houston Teen, Houston

A 13-year-old boy was kidnapped Monday by five White teenagers from a bus stop in Houston and was found by a passing driver running away from his abductors, Houston police told ABC 13.

Zavion Parker’s mother, Michelle Lee, became worried when he did not come home from school, so she called the police.

As officers were getting information, Parker was found safe, though he had torn clothes and no shoes.

Parker told officers that the boys approached him after he got off the bus, forced him into a car driven by an adult man, took him to a vacant house and assaulted him, ABC 13 reports.

Lee said she received frightening messages from her son’s phone saying the abductors were going to “kill him.”

Parker said he escaped when the boys went into another room to get a gun.

A witness, Camecia Carmouche, said she was driving nearby when she saw Parker running in a torn shirt and without shoes. She called the police.

Parker said that one of the kidnappers had a tattoo on his arm that read, “I hate black people.”

His mother believes he was targeted because of his race.
